In 2008, John, along with thousands of others in Michiana, got hit hard by the recession. When the economy took a dive and stayed there, one of the first things that went south was the building of new homes – and John’s livelihood. “They foreclosed on my house." John...

What’s New

On Saturday, we held a special event for our residents so they could experience a bit a fun after all the quarantine. Children enjoyed an inflatable bouncy slide, a numbered duck game, a soda bottle ring toss game, and received a goodie bag. Adults played corn hole and participated in a pie eating contest, hula hoop contest, and a grand prize drawing. Individuals also had an opportunity to dunk a few staff members in the dunk tank! Everyone enjoyed Kona shaved ice and grilled burgers and brats. The celebration ended with a family movie on the big screen.

#Thankyou so much to these wonderful girls from Tender Tots daycare in New Paris for helping Faith Mission on Friday and blowing us away with their hearts to #serve and hard work!
These amazing, industrious young ladies decided their daycare group needed to do a service project, so they researched online, found Faith Mission, read our entire Website, put out the word and collected #donations (clothing, shoes, toys, etc.), cleaned them, and then brought them to us. While here, they did a phenomenal job pulling weeds, and also helped number ducks for a special event we held. Wow!
